Our Mission
Tea and Tinsel LLC strives to provide high-quality experiences that highlight cuisine, culture, and tradition. Our tea and holiday decorating services transform events into life-long memories for customers.
MEET TRACY
Owner Tracy Epps is the creative spirit behind Tea and Tinsel LLC, which combines her passions of bringing people together with tea and good cuisine and holiday decorating.
Her love of tea grew over the years as she collected teas and tea ware from her travels. She has enjoyed over seven international tea services and dozens of services in the U.S. She has hosted dozens of tea parties for her family and friends and has coordinated several tea and reception events for social and professional organizations. Her friends share that her tea parties offer a level of sophistication that rivals the best tea salons in England.
Epps has been a hobby baker since age seven. Her colleagues are obsessed with her spinach quiches, rum cupcakes, and apple cake. She successfully completed the ANAB accredited Learn2Serve Food Handler Training Course. She is current enrolled in Food Safety Manager's training.
Her family cherishes the holiday season. As a teenager, Epps volunteered to wrap gifts for her grandmother and others through community service projects. She always helps her mom decorate her (many) Christmas trees. This sparked the idea to help others bring sparkle to the holidays.
In her spare time, she volunteers for various community services organizations and non-profits in the northern Virginia area and provides media and content services through Trend and Type Media Company LLC (trendandtype.com).
